and just like that, A.C.M.E. was over.
showsDoll @ A.C.M.E.
this year, i am stuck at the kknm booth helping out as the
"under table manager" for A.C.M.E. leaving showsDoll booth
to kitty dear , kawoo(boss) and wolfpaws to take care. we
have not much to sell as mentioned but we did sold out
several pieces of works and of course Alpacas~!
(wolfpaws, wednesday on naiyalama XD)
much thanks to
the showsDoll Co. for doing such a good job at the booth
when i am not around. *hugs* thou there was kind of lost of
demand for the singlet (tank top) i made, all was still
good. not to mention that we have people queuing over night
for our Reimu and Marisa Touho Set!!! it was just Wow.
seriously i wish i could have brought more things back to
sell this year, but the passing typhoon had to blow away and
delay my stock. oh well, better luck next year i hope.
crowd at the kknm booth this year was slightly less
aggressive i might say. we got lesser "super buying otakus"
but more "queue overnight for one item" people. so the mad
rush ended or ceased down after 2 hours which was fast.
i must definitely quote that one person who queued from
6:30pm the day before just to get one BRS file! yes, only
one file! and also the guy who queued just to come in not
knowing that there was a second "non-kknm" entrance.
watsArt! section had a wide display of mechandise from BRS,
Vocaloid, K-on and other popular titles, i wish i had more
time to look around, but i am like stuck between two booths
when i am more free.
the touho tournament was like a stand up concert, with fans
of the game and onlookers cheering and whoooing for the
player/characters they like. it was a long battle royale but
it was quite interesting overall.
event ended around 6pm this year. fast and brief.
HDB getto!
appointment made, flat chosen and contract signed~!
after 4 months, dear and i went from wanting to owning a
flat. of course owning the physical one still takes some
time.
went to hdb hub with dear and both of her parents on sunday
(yes, they are open, but only to appointment.) to do the
final flat selection and signing of contract. procedure was
less complicating and more simple than i expected. of course
there was many factors, rules, clauses and notes; paperwork
were systematic and clear.
maybe perhaps its the nice and funny sales person handling
our transaction, or perhaps its the presences of dear's
parents which her dad in particular is an expert in such
things. all was in good karma and all was smooth.
now all that is left is the down payment in 4 months time
and it will be a 3 years wait/saving period to getting a
home of our own~
our estate in a
few years to come~

busy busy busy again
so many things happening at one time >_<
feel so choked of things to do and things that need to be
done.
i have finally moved
actually i have moved in to my new place last sunday, the
week was to hectic to blog anything about it. now my new
place is stacked with boxes over boxes, dun even have free
time to unpack or shift things around.
thanks to the
bros whom help (arsonist) with my moving and also the nice
uncle driver whom help despite not being paid to do so.
a last goodbye to my old place, so much bad memories and
also some good ones. its has been a good 13 years na~
sayonara.
preparation for A.C.M.E.
after all the hard pressed work for the pass two nights.
hand painting of clothes and props mostly done, all that is
left is to pack the individual pieces into their ziplogs
bags and tagged for price.
thou we do have much to sell this year, i believe it will be
equally crowded at our booth, judging it would be in Alpaca
madness altogether (you'll have to see it for yourself~)
will be bringing all my Azone Obitsu, cheryl, miomi, elisse
and mitsuka.
dear will be helping to bring her Azones and also two mdds
XD not ours of course.
it will be loads of fun i guess, hope to finish my side of
the booth with the main stall early so that i can join them.
hdb?
this sunday is also the day dear and me going to select our
flat. kind of excited as i am clueless about such things
which is bad. but unlike me, dear was very well prepared
asking around, taking suggestions from colleagues and family
members.
i always thought it was a simple affair, at least it seem so
to all the people around me. but i guess i am only hitting
the tip of the iceberg.
the more i hear it the more it seems like i can't get a hdb,
as if my cpf wasn't enough, my salary will be not enough
also. it's like all i know before wasn't true and now i am
hearing a set of new things all over again.
had to go do a lumpful of reading from the website at night
to keep up with the facts, feels like taking an exam this
sunday.
now i can only wait till this sunday where i think i will
crash at the table by the details i would need to take in.
hopefully, it will not result in me giving up everything or
selling everything in my life to make sure i am in line with
buying a home. but even so, it has to be done i guess. its
life in SG.
looks like i got to stop buying, paying and start to save
like mad also...
so yeah, one unit in mind now, hopefully we will get it
before anyone takes it.
work rush peak period
it is until november?
i don't know anymore, the usual once a week tests that i do
now is becoming a everyday thing. test request coming on
like at 5pm. standby till like 11pm?
crazy.
even now i am working, hopefully end before 11pm, if not i
will have trouble catching a bus back to my new place na~

days to Japan
back home from japan
(no pix afterall, really)
its a long 7 day trip but now that it is over, it feels so
short.
overall, this year's japan trip was much more enjoyable than
the last definitely. got ample time to do the things we want
and have ample budget to get the things we wanted. much
shopping was done and some sight seeing was also
accomplished.
pretty happy about the trip and will definitely use the
budget guideline for the future trips to come.
(warning: blardy long text journal
coming up, dun read if got headache!)
day 0 - T3 airport
after completing my standby duties at work, i rushed home to
do some last minute packing before heading to the airport to
meet up with kitty dear, weeming and zhixing. turns out all
of us were more or less early. did some walking around in T3
and finally settle down with dinner at pasta@sakae.
at 2300hrs, we boarded the plane to japan. the flight there
was kindoff wobbly as we passed bad weather in the south
china sea. but overall the flight was not bad.
arrived in japan narita airport at 0751hrs and after making
a mistake in going to toilet first, we had to beat the super
long queue through the immigration booths and ended up only
reaching the baggage collection at 0828hrs.
after getting out of the final check point, the time was
already 0840hrs. sadly we already missed the 0835hrs
limousine bus and have to buy tickets for the next one at
0935hrs. lazed around for awhile before boarding the bus to
our hotel at ikebukuro.
bus ride to the hotel was delayed as we were caught in the
morning jam in the highway due to the rain. finally reached
sunshine city prince hotel at 1110hrs and checked in our
luggage first before heading out to the nearby otome road,
animate and sunshine 60 street. the weather in tokyo is
windy with no sunshine due to the passing typhoon, good for
us thou. we met up with Reinnie to pick up some stuff she
help the gang buy and had lunch at CASA (a family restaurant
that sell nice western/japanese food) before we returned to
the hotel at 1345hrs to check in and headed out to akihabara
after.
the reason we came one day earlier than the rest of the shop
gang this year was to go akiba to get our doll stuff and
other misc figurines. lesson learnt cause i took too long of
a time in the shops and delayed the shop gang schedule. so
this year, try to get everything before meeting up with
them.
both dear and me manage to get tons of stuff including
cheryl's spare parts, a new doll body for miomi, some nendos,
doll clothes/wigs/eyes and angelic pretty dal.
the best thing
that happened so far would be the fact that i got the
morning musume concert dvd for this year! i didn't manage to
get last year's one during the trip. so this year is good
karma!
when back to the hotel and ended the day with convini food
and a good rest.
after breakfast at my favorite mori~soba shop + enka shite,
we waited at the lobby area for the rest of the kknm shop
gang to arrive. turns out that they themselves were stuck in
the jam although they never missed the 0835hrs bus. their
limobus reached the hotel at around 1100hrs.
after depositing their luggages in our rooms and washing up.
the gang decided to walk around in sunshine plaza within the
hotel premises before they check in at 1400hrs. decided to
go namja town to eat gyosa, on the way...it just so happen
that there was a "heartcatch pretty cure" exhibition in one
of the halls there, so since it strongly attracted me and
sharon, we decided to pay 1000yen and go in to walk walk and
see loli!
it was indeed a loli paradise, with many kids and parents
with big cameras shuffling thru the many booths and play
areas. the major highlights would have to be the 1/1 precure
mascot statues from all the precure series and of course the
karaoke booth where lolis can line up and go on stage and
sing the op and ed of the latest precure series~ i also
manage to by a event limited "heart seed" pack and cure
sunshine's henshin perfume~! happy day for me.
after we headed to namja town. after buying a 300yen ticket
we headed into the dark hallways (almost like a horror
movie) the gyoza stadium! in there, there are like 10 over
stalls selling nothing but gyoza of all tastes and sizes. we
split up to buy gyozas and rendezvous back with our gyoza
feast~ quite filling and oily but nice LOL. after the feast,
we headed off to walk around in namja town where that is a
naruto fair, a ghost fair and ice cream place. we manage to
chance upon an arcade when i get my first try on a ufo
catcher machine with Alpacas inside. and surprisingly, i
manage to get a pink kawaii lama on my first try!!! lucky na!!!
the shop gang went back to the lobby to check in at 1430hrs.
after which we proceeded to train station and purchased a suika card (japan ezlink) and go to nakano~ due to the
meeting schedules for the bosses, we were left halfway thru
nakano broadway where we roam and shop on our own. met
darren and stanley from the card geeks there also. but
darren left for meeting awhile later and stanley also went
back after.
this year at nakano, i manage to buy the custom "mamachapp"
i saw last year. it was 7100yen last year and this year it
was at 5000yen! since i allocated budget for it, i manage to
get her pair sister too at 5000yen~ good buy, good karma! so
now showsDoll have their very own mascot dolls! (since only
one of each design is produced each time, so there is no
other doll that look like them. limited sia!)
dear also manage to get her ritsu nendo and yui/mugi stage
set there at a good price. i further manage to get my summon
nights granthese ps2 game also.
after spending more money, we headed back to ikebukuro when
kitty, mi and zhixing broke off from the tired team and went
to 'closet child' - its a place that sells good quality
value 2nd hand lolita and gothic punk clothes. kitty manage
to get a blue angelic pretty jsk with head bow~ very good
buy at half the retail price! we also visited kbooks newest
subsidiary - Kdolls! where we got several msd and yosd sized
doll clothing at below cost prices, very good place, a definite must
visit place next time. after where we return for rest.
day 3 is asakusa day, even more so as we didn't manage to
visit it last year due to the cramp schedule. breakfast is
at my favorite mori~soba place before we headed to the train
station to asakusa~
because we went later this year, all the shops in the place
were already open. nothing much changed except that we
didn't get lost like two years back. i also manage to bring
shaiya for 'purification' also XD the most happening thing
was that kitty and i were approached by an unknown volks
doll owner (which is one of the shop tenants) and manage to
converse with her in our broken japanese. she also took
photo of our dolls and said that she will post on her blog,
which i forgot to take her address T_T.
after asakusa, we decided to add a visit to tokyo tower as
we never visited before in our last trips. so we took a
train to Daimon and walked to tokyo tower. weather was super
windy with slight drizzle, really help made the 800m walk
much easier. also passed a shrine and a kindergarden
(closed) on the way there.
ticket up to tokyo tower viewing gallery was at 820yen which
keith mentioned that it was more worth it that some pre****
exhibition as there is much more things to see up the tower~
LOL. and indeed the view up at the tower gallery was
fantastic thou the hazy weather blocked off mount fuji from
its view. my favorite have to be the look down glass
flooring where you can see the depth of the tower to its
streets down below. (saw a father freaked his son out with
it thou).
after spending some time taking pics and buying rip off coin
souvenirs, we headed down to the shopping area beneath the
tower for lunch. went to this very curry rice place called 'tokyo
curry lab' to eat. i ordered a vegetable curry and i must
say it is the best tasting curry rice i have ever eaten.
will definitely try again if i have the chance. also visited
a "hero fair" going on selling kamen rider and precure
stuff, where dear and i bought more precure stuff XD.
we headed off to harajuku to meet reinnie after for more
shopping for the girls. it also started to rain. since most
of the gang are more or less tired, we literally 'basha'
outside a sheltered apartment while waiting for kitty,
sharon and reinnie to finish their shopping. proceeded down
to laforet where part 2 of the shopping begins. the guys
waited in this nice cottage cafe where we had some toast and
fruit soda before meeting up with the rest and went to
uniqlo for part 3 shopping.
decided to have dinner at shinjuku where we also visited the
tenshi no shimika there. manage to get the volks DD03 head
that kitty was looking for. a special mention as there was a
band performance at the main gather area outside the train
station... "Plastic Tree" was performing their outdoor
concert there which blew reinnie off her feet! proceeded to
this ulu place that look like an underground shop to have
some really expensive japanese food. unfortunately dear got
sick due to the rain and really bad abrasion on her thighs
which damped her mood. so we went straight back to rest
after the quick and brief dinner.
the day has come, yes its comiket day aka saiko no toukan
2010!
this year we woke up super early so that we can catch the first
subway train arriving in ikebukuro yurakucho line. so it was a
0430hrs fall in timing at the lobby this time round. joining us in
the battle, is also rickson from TCG making us a 9 people army.
the great ikebukuro walk/run started from sunshine city prince hotel
and continued all the way thru sunshine 60 street and in to the
underpass of the subway line, our leader keith was determined to
reach the train station stop before 0500hrs. well. we did manage to
reach the rest stop with most alive and a half dead brenda cos she
was carrying all the ice packs for the comiket war! (which was
suppose to be split among the team T_T)
the good thing was that we manage to catch the first subway to
toyosu. the train was fairly empty when we board and most of the
team got to sit down. but it was not long after the train was
greeted with tons of comiket crowd at another nearby station and the
train was filled up to its brim, yes, to its brim!
upon reaching toyosu exchange, the train doors burst open with
otakus flowing out of it and some even running towards the exit to
catch the first yurikamome train to ariake station. unfortunately we
didn't make it to the first yurikamome train but the 2nd one
instead. all was still well as we manage to find a spacious cabin to
stand in. we reached the queuing ground at 0630hrs this year! WOW
the weather for this year's comiket was once again FANTASTIC! the
sky was filled with clouds and wind greeted us. to make things
better, we were right in the main queue of the comiket line, that is
to mean we can actually see the big site building right in front of
us!
the wait went on till around 0945hrs when everyone starts to stand
and slowly move towards the 2nd holding area. 2nd waiting area was
also windy fortunately. at 1015hrs we were let into the sacred
queuing ground up the stairways of "wu shou nan yang" . this year
dear and mi are in the Gee!store/Axia/Precious Memories team.
looking for the Gee!store queue was a pain as the queuing system
changed to one that lines up down a slope making the "last in line"
sign board difficult to find. but we manage to find it after
discovering the slope. the queue this year was slightly better to
queue in as it clears pretty fast. perhaps it is due to the
efficient staff members of perhaps the low buying crowd. thou there
were some hiccups due the the fact that some of the stuff we wanted
belonging to another booth. so in the end, instead of queuing at 3
booths we did 5. but as good karma was on our side with nagi sama
protecting us, 2 of our booths has no queue at all, all walk in!!!
LOL
a memorable moment would have to be the Axia booth staff expression
when i told him i wanted 30 box sets of a certain card title. he
literally jaw dropped, and it was hilarious how they fumble and
panic when they could not find a bag to put the big 30 pack carton
box. fortunately i brought a big heavy duty tote bag.
in a short 1hr and 45mins kitty and mi cleared our mission, where
most of the tem members are still queuing for stuff. so we waited at
the predestinated rendezvous point and waited for the rest. although
there is this lady who keep driving us away as we had too many bags
and seem to be blocking the area, but we ignored her in the end
*evil*
at around 1200hrs most of the members came back already except for
the nanoha group which only made it back around 1300hrs. bad news
from them as all nanoha character goods were sold out, even when we
are early!
also dear dear manage to get a "nagi sama" t-shirt for me na~!!!
Luve it! thankew dear!
at around 1400hrs, we migrated to the open area at the exit to rest
and enjoy the wind. reinnie also joined us then with much needed
water and food *thank you reinnie!* after a good rest we proceeded
back to ikebukuro to rest awhile before heading out for dinner.
dinner was at the stir fry mise and i tried the mabo tofu that
sharon strongly recommend. and it was uber nice! after the girls and
the guy split to do their own shopping and meet back at the hotel
for well deserved rest.
saturday is normally the 'akiba' day.
started the morning with breakfast at tatsuya where i ate raw egg
(bought a raw egg without knowing LOL). proceed to the train station
after to go to akiba~
the group going to akiba also minus 1 person as brenda chose to go
comiket for the 2nd day!
went to yodobashi first this time round to look at toys and buy my
dsLL usb charge cable that can't be found in sg. also manage to buy
a few new bakugan transformer balls and dear bought some precure
minature toys.
after we proceeded to mandarake to look for some limited stuff.
managed to find the jigoku shoujo azone i was looking for but was a
little off budget already after so many days, so i gave her a pass.
perhaps i will get her next year if she is still around. i also
found the summon nights 2 ds game i was looking for and better yet i
got the game with its limited soundtrack at below original price!
sweet!
we also came across a pretty neat place that sell very nice custom
t-shirts with beautiful anime prints on it, sure inspired me somehow
or rather. we also visited the tinkle art gallery happening nearby.
after we went to eat at the tempura place near animate before
heading to animate itself. i also got the two morishita mai dvds at
a nearby **** shop. we further went to "radio kaikan" to visit
kotobukiya, kbooks and azone again to get more stuff. and more
ALPACAS! yes we manage to get the wound up alpacas to sell at
A.C.M.E. this year XD we also visited Gamers and JeansMate before
going back to ikebukuro to get bakudan yaki (big takopachi) for
dinner and rest.
started the harajuku day with breakfast at McDees, i ate my
favorite McHotdog and kitty and Zhixing ate Mega McMuffin. Only the
three of us as the group split into two groups today cos half opted
to go to the Black Rock Shooter event at UDX akihabara.
after breakfast we took a stroll to toranoana where we spent more
money on touhou stuff. kitty bought a kawaii chiruno swing mascot
and zhixing bought basara figures and many many hatsune miku stuff~
we met up with reinnie at harajuku station and she brought us around
to all the various lolita/punk shops along takeshita dori. we also
manage to eat crepe *yumyum* i also bought the sunglass i lost
during last year's trip *happy* at only 1050yen!!!
manage to buy some stuff for the showDoll members as gifts and did
some shopping around before heading off to shibuya station to meet
up with the gang that went akiba.
after the gang arrived, we split to go 109 and mandarake while i
went to the momusu hello project shop at 109-2 (mens) to look
around. saw a nice manoeri & s/milage concert dvd but due to my now
limited expenses, i held over of it. but i did manage to take a
photo with a huge poster of kaito reinya! LOL
went over to 109 to look for the sharon and reinnie after a fail
attempt to look for mandarake. 109 is really very wow, and as
shannen say, the shibuya girls are wow! they are very pretty in
their unique way i might say.
after meeting up with al the members, we headed off to the last stop
in shibuya which was the animate there. it was a short visit and the
shop gang gather the stash for the shop. after which we headed back
to the hotel for more convini food and packing as we are going back
tomorrow~
last day in japan. started the morning with breakfast at
CASA. which we have nice english breakfast. returned back to the
hotel to do some last minute packing before checking out at 1000hrs.
keith and sharon left for meeting and the rest of us decided to
revisit places like animate, volks, kbooks, rashinban, kdolls and
sunshine city mall. went to have lunch at the mori~soba place before
heading off to toranoana again to get some last minute stuff.
met up with keith and sharon back at the hotel at around 1500hrs and
boarded the limobus to narita at around 1535hrs. ride was smooth on
the journey back, so smooth that we reach the airport at 1700hrs,
that near to 45 minutes earlier than last year which was at 1745hrs.
did the checking in and headed to the 'tax free akihabara' shop to
buy last minute omiyages.
lazed around at the lounge area where we had yakisoba and some
drinks before boarding the plane back to singapore at 1845hrs. met
andrew and imouto at the boarding area also. plane ride back was
smooth and i even manage to get some sleep on the way.
reached sg airport T3 at 0045hrs, after slitting up the goods we are
carrying, we decided to find a place to nua until 0600hrs so as to
siam the midnight charges and peak charges from 7am. so rested at
the food court till then and headed off after.
that ends this year's trip to japan~ XD

days to Japan
day 0, trip to japan!
but i am working at site right now O_O"
don't know if its some mysterious phenomenon, but every time
i am about to go on holiday, my system always goes dead. so
now i am "accompanying" the system until it recovers.
room packing 70% done
after a strenuous packing and throwing away of things, i
would say 70% of my stuff is packed. i threw away alot of
stuff and also stash alot of misc things to be donated. the
most painful to part would have to be my "feiyan" costume
and my evangelion VHS collection. i would love to keep those
but the "feiyan" i can never fit into it again, as for the
video tapes, they are already moldy :(
the best thing
that happened so far would be the fact that i am the ONLY
person left living in the flat, the rest, have already moved
out to the new place. it feels kind of funny to suddenly
hear no quarrels, smell no smoke from the cigarettes and
feel no presence of them, not that i miss those but after 13
years living in this place, all these will be coming to an
end soon.
with all the things moved, the once "cramp" flat now is
huge. (even more so after the "donation" movers come this
weekend) i can't help but notice echoes whenever i cough or
squeezed.
japan trip 2010
as of now, packing is not done, yes, i have packed nothing
at all. will be rushing home after work to pack, have a
shower and head to the airport to meet the dear and the guys
later at 6:30pm for dinner.
i am really looking forward to this years trip. unlike the
last, this year i have more time and spending power. also it
will be my first overseas holiday with dear kitty. not
mentioning first time overseas with zhixing also lol.
just hope the system here recovers soon. then i have more
time to pack up.
<rant>
PS: for those friends whom placed an order list, do know
that the "no promises" tag still persist. if the object is
bulky (i.e. box sets) or inconvenient (bottles/glass) to
bring along, it will not be bought regardless found or not.
I am not going to compromise not buying showsDolls/personal
things just because i ran out of luggage space due to
omiyagehs and friends list.

30 years already
it was like yesterday when i was celebrating my 21st
birthday in a hole with my NS buddy in a hole, and now i am
30 already. i guess time really flies when you actually know
whats going on and really go on using up every moment.
many thank you to those whom sent me wishes thru sms, email,
snail mail. and hugs to those who gave me many nice pressies,
i love them lots. so a post to some love i got.
odm pixel bangle watch
a pressie from kitty dear *hugs* was eyeing on this watch
ever since it came out two years ago but never really got to
buying it due to its price. it was a whoopin' sgd256+ when
it first released. now thou the price had dropped, it is
still expensive. i will treasure it lots dear, thank you <3
energizer super battery pack portable
from weeming *bows* this little gadget addition may look
small but packs a punch in charging power. (charging my
creative zen xi-fi 2 in the photo) it fully charged my "flat
out" mp3 player from nil to full in 1 hour! and without
recharging the device i manage to charge my sony handphone
from nil to full in half an hour!!! before it ends its
charging power and have to be recharged. this little charger
will be very useful in the upcoming japan trip. thank you na
~XD
"i am bad man" and "end of line"
T-shirt from the kknm gang
much thanks to andrew, imouto, esther ,brenda and all those
whom had chipped in in these wonderful t-shirts for me. i
will definitely be wearing the "end of line" to comiket
2010!!! the gang also got a "musical christmas kuromi" which
i missed last time (forgot to take pic) pretty and cute.
thank you all guys *hugs*
the underwater world
this year, i decided to spend my birthday with dear visiting
a place we both never gone for a long time - the underwater
world sentosa!!!
it was a nice
and exciting experience visiting it once again after 15
years. we manage to see giant turtles, strange looking
marine life, touch live stingray, see "humping horse shoe
crabs" <-yes it was the highlight, view the beautiful
jellyfishes, got amazed by the "sea angel" whom lived in 2
degrees water! we also saw gigantic japanese crabs and also
caught the dolphin and seal shows while we were there.
the underwater tunnel although isn't the most fantastic,
still makes my day. the sad thing is we didn't manage to see
the "dugongs" but we did get a plush toy of it XD kawaii!
really enjoyed ourselves and it was good money spent XD
thank you dear for accompanying me na~ <3
Its all "KARMA" and your fault!
sunday was CSC and shoe shopping with weeming as he needed
new shoes cos his present ones are getting "soul-less" LOL.
but look what happened...
of course they
are not all weemings, only the left one is and the one in
the middle is mine and the one on the right is dear's. yes
we ALL bought shoes!!!! all thanks to Weeming's good KARMA
we all some how saw shoes we wanted and the store was having
25% discount! so yeah, new walkers for me in japan. I
totally love my shoes XD (all red and black goodness) thus
its a bday gift for myself! ended the day having nice
stir-fry foods and dessert after before heading home for an
early rest.
and also, happy birthday Maiya,
its fantastic having you around for 4 years now XD (maiya is
my second bjd btw~)
it is a nice birthday, thank you everyone <3
and because time flies its~ 07 days to

packing my history
was packing up my music cd collection when i came across my
collection of "Shazna" cd singles. "Shazna" is a visual band
back from the 97s when i was still in poly. it was also this
band that influenced me to form my poly band "exodus blu"
members of "Shazna" are NIY(bass), A.O.I.(guitar) and IZAM
(vocals).
I personally like Izam's voice but most people of my time
tend to think differently. looking back it really brought
back memories when i was mad about them. Unfortunately, "Shazna"
disbanded in march 2009 last year and held their last live
concert on the 22nd that month. apparently their concert dvd
is out in november 2009, so i might as well try and find it
when i go japan next month. it might as well be my last
piece of collection from my idols of long ago.
sure am going to miss them.
i have several favorite songs, but Kokoro "
心"has
to be on top of my chart.
beautiful PV, slow but hides a story; a case of mis-identity
and how people you meet in life might change how life itself
ends, even when one might not know one another.
if only i had the chance to perform this track with my
band...
i guess not

14
days to Japan
been gone for awhile ya~
was very uber busy with work and packing in my current room
for the past weeks. schedule was like work, OT, go home
pack, sleep, wake up, work, OT, go home, pack... you get the
idea.
manage to get a tinny bit of free time to blog some pics
before i get busy after lunch. first off~
a shot of part 1
of my room moving packing, currently moved are my figurines,
magazines/pictorials, DVD/CDs and some misc nick naks.
seriously, only when you start packing, you won't know how
much shite you own na~ i was pretty surprise that i own like
30 over copies of hobby japan/degenki (which i threw away)
and 127 DVD titles!!! now all of those are over at my new
place. managed to move all the stuff over with the help of
weeming and my uncle's van on saturday morning. Much Thanks
to them if not i would not have been able to move so much
stuff over in just one trip. most of my nerf toy guns and my
guitars are moved over too. now that is left are my doll
stuff, clothes stuff and my awsome 120 pinky.st collection!
great news for
dear and me cause we got our hdb ballot number and it is way
before the half mark of the total number of ballot units.
its only our first try and we got the flat~ (we must be uber
lucky na *happys*) now we are waiting for the flat selection
date to be posted to us. also went to submit our HLE (home
loan eligibility) very important as it determines whether
you can have a loan from hdb.am really looking forward to
our new place :)
dear and mi also
visited the IR at Marina finally. sad to say i do not find
it as spectacular as what others told me. i personally like
Resort World Sentosa much more. maybe because i love sentosa.
but yeah, the shopping area was so so, with a food court
line right at the corridors of several top branded shops.
hmmmm Hermes smelling like prawn noodles sure comes to mind.
the water feature that claims mimicked from Venice is
nothing even close to the Macau one. maybe because the water
was black instead of blue, really darken the already dim
lighted mall. the open space outside the IR is probably the
only thing i like about the place, a spacious wooden deck
greeted by the bay waters at the edge, great place to sit
around and perhaps have meets. thou, sentosa would be better
after all.
*insert shaiya
screams*
yes, after 2 years of searching, dear and mi finally found
the 50mm long range sniper rifle for shaiya~! the M82A1 is
probably the only big caliber sniper rifle i didn't manage
to get for shaiya. it was sold some time back in one of the
CSC stalls but the price was ridiculous so i waited, but
when i finally decided to give in to the price, it was sold
away. it was two years later this baby decided to make a
come back. so this time, we took no doubts and bought it.
the black one is bought by dear dear and the camo one by me.
and it was at a fraction of the actual original price *happys*
for motivation purposes~ 14 days to
Japan!!!!!

i have to post this
before i....
bury myself in OT till 10pm today, stupid upgrade + Ang Mor
= OT.
but THIS made my day! in fact, i have in in HD looping in
the background now. Its the new Ending Theme for K-on!! "No,
Thank You!"
LOVES MAX, ok i am crazy when it comes to Mio orientated
endings, but i love how the song starts with a chime melody
and makes a heavy intro after. the bridge grows up tempo and
the chorus is just pure mio power!
love the setting and videograph of the whole MV also, the
cloudy sky setting with the after school uniform. the
jumping and stalling in the sky part was the climax for me
\OoO/, its perfect. the rest of the crew also looks great
with new hairstyles, love ritsu with her bangs down, azunyan
and mugi just have to play with my love for one sided
ponytails. yui looks serious and pretty in this video.
*breathes*
I am so making new clothes again~

tired weekend indeed
helped out in the KKnM booth manning at the Mascot Parade or
Cosmo on saturday. event started at around 11am but we were
there around 9am to set up. most of the other members were
already at the shop preparing as early as 8am. the weather
was rainy to start, as we set up the booth at the basement
level of the event. fortunately, there was no floods in the
area this time round.
the booth set up was completed around 11.30am and business
started to roll in on and off throughout the humid day.
mission was to clear as many "big" stuff as possible as it
was more of a clearance sale than a new release. crowd was
manageable compared to other events where members of the
team sometime could not even leave the booth positions. this
time we get small time offs to go walk around and do stuff.
the on and off mad sale went on until around 7.30pm where we
start to pack up and the guys from the shop made a move.
while me and dear stayed at the event to watch the 'delayed'
jrock mini concert! this time round, compared to the other
two streetfest ones, was better. better due to its location,
sound systems and effects. yes, they even have fire blowing
out the stage at the climax of performances!
the sad thing is that most of us including the performers
were tired after a day and being squeezed of time due to
starting late. so the event ended abruptly at around 1130pm
and the tent people started taking down the structure when
the people were still mingling around O_O.
stayed for awhile where after dear and me left in a cab to
Downtown East for the
tenipuri/cosfest chalet. supposedly tired, we took a bath
and found ourselves lodging in the hall playing games and
talking, but still i stayed up until morning without
sleeping a wink. took a 30 minute nap before "waking" up for
breakkie and preparation for the day's cosplay.
this year i did shotaro from kamen rider W with kie as my
phillip~kun. due to the tireness setting in, i only started
cosing at around 3pm and ended it around 5.30pm. managed to
take some pics of us at least. i think we need a private
shoot soon.
cyclone! joker!
i just have to
mention karu for doing such a great job in putting a mascot
together and making such a great ponta~kun! dear was her
(assistant traffic control) kawaii/tsudere chidori. somehow
i think dear look nice in blue hair thou~
also kirby/auel
for making me super impress for putting together a war
machine (foam machine) with eva foam!!!!! you have surpass
foam using once again bro! good job!
congrats also go
to onimusha for making the lol gatsby franky from one piece.
yes, he is going japan again this year. i really wonder what
he is going to do next.
chalet ended on monday, and dear and me both headed home to
unpack before going out again to celebrate her birthday!
happy birthday dear! as tired as we were, we still went to
sentosa resort world believe it or not. found a really nice
24hr place that sell taiwan/hongkong food stuff. and the
food are uber yummy! 'ruyi' is the name of the place in the
basement of the resort world arena.
i ate my
favourite "mabo tofu w/ rice" and dear ate "jia jiang mian"
both set comes with a very tasty seaweed egg soup and jelly
desserts! all for sgd10+
took a nice stroll around the place and down the merlion to
the beach. manage to catch an animal show at the palawan
atrium (that we didn't know exist) where they feature a nice
albino stone snake and a sea eagle! the host is also super
amusing, really enjoyed ourselves.
ended the day, at vivo after taking some doll photos of
dear's new pressie~ kousame! (from left: Kouji, Kousame and
Kouta)
after we had
dinner at white dog cafe, which had their menu changed. the
nice sausage platter and pork knuckle are both taken out
unfortunately but many other new soups and culets were added
too.
retired home after a stroll and watching some second
hand "fireworks" from sentosa.
shall end the long post with a photo of shaiya (currently my
wall paper).
